A STING antagonist modulating the interaction with STIM1 blocks ER-to-Golgi trafficking and inhibits lupus pathology

ISD017 has STING antagonistic activity in vivo

ISD Immunotech Announces the publication of Soren’s Lab in EBioMedicine entitled “A STING antagonist modulating the interaction with STIM1
blocks ER-to-Golgi trafficking and inhibits lupus pathology”, Supporting Therapeutic Potential of its Lead Candidate ISD017 in Severe Lupus Patients. The paper describes ISD017, a selective peptide inhibitor of stimulator of interferon genes (STING), tha
t prevents all downstream activities of STING and disease in several mouse models of lupus. The drug candidate also prevents pathological inflammatory immune response in lupus patient blood samples. Thus, the results support the clinical benefit of ISD017 and its potential as a treatment for severe lupus.

The CNRS bronze medal was awarded to Nadine Laguette in 2021

and rewards the first works consecrating researchers specializing in their field. This distinction represents an encouragement from the CNRS to pursue well-initiated and already fruitful research.

Biophysicists honored with Taiwan-France scientific prize

Biophysicists honored with Taiwan-France scientific prize21st Franco-Taiwanese scientific grand prize was awarded jointly on November 27, 2019 in Paris to François Treussart and Chang Huan-cheng for their research, at the frontier of physics, chemistry and biology, on the use of fluorescent diamond nanocrystals in neuronal imaging. Awarded by the Taiwanese Ministry of Science and Technology and the Academy of Sciences in France, this prize rewards and encourages a Franco-Taiwanese scientific duo for their scientific contribution in a field of interest to both countries.
